Cool Cats Cycling Club

Welcome to the Cool Cats Cycling Club, based in San Antonio, Texas - Come and join us!!!

We’re a recreational road-riding club. All levels of rider and all types of bikes are welcome... We don't care if you ride a road bike, hybrid, tandem, or a MTB. We have a variety of riders with different skill levels. We have a faster group but also specialize in training new riders who want to go at a slower pace and learn all the basics. One of our more experienced riders will stay with you...No rider is ever left behind or on their own. We'll push you up hills, help fix your flats and teach you all there is to riding a bike properly and safely.

We participate in several charity bicycle events each year. This year (May 2010) we fielded a large team of riders once again for the annual Tour de Cure ride from San Antonio to Austin. Once again we won the award for "Top Club / Organization or Team South Texas" (for the second year in a row). We also continued our sponsorship of a rest stop for the event and manned it with 20+ club members, family & friends and also coordinated all SAG vehicles for the event... Once again we won the "Best Rest Stop" award (for the second year in a row!)  We also participated in the 2007 & 2008 & 2009 Tour de Cure events and also won the "Best Rest Stop Award" back in 2007. Since 2008 we have also helped organize and support the annual Mission to Mission Wheels for Meals ride in San Antonio.
